Fashion and Gardens: The Mutual Influence and Inspiration
Featuring Bridget Kelley Huzar
How did the palace gardens influence the length of dresses? Why did embroidery patterns dictate landscape design?  When did a war change what we wore and what we planted?  Starting from the 16th century, this exciting talk illustrates how fashion and gardens have been closely tied through the ages and how they influence our future!  Bridget Kelley Huzar is a graduate of Delaware Valley University with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture/Environmental Design.  Bridget has been designing and consulting for 27 years, creating unique, hand-drawn plans for small cottages and large estates as well as breathtaking container displays. Her designs, installed by the premier landscape company French Gardens, can be seen all around the Lehigh Valley and recently as far as Los Angeles.
